I will give You a short way to record your desktop's activities.. It is so easy and you just follow my steps below.

1. Download the software here  (4shared.com). the name is "Portable AutoScreenRecorder"

2. Extract this software.

3. Open the folder and execute (double click) AutoScreenRecorder.exe

4. You can change the folder to place your recording file in tab "TO" (between button From and Advanced in left window)
   

5. Press "record now" to start your recording, and press "stop" to stop.

you can also use shortkey F9 to start recording, then alt+F9 to pause, and F9 again to stop the recording. You can bring it in your flashdisk everywhere, because AutoScreenRecorder is portable software. I think enaugh.. :)
